Weird

I am writing this to kind of see if anyone else has had this experience. I often find myself driving down the road and as I approach a street lamp it goes out. At first it was always this one particular one which I just blamed on a bad bulb, but now it has become much more random, sometimes they are lights in town and sometimes they are just those lights at intersecting roads. Its really odd and I am kind of curious if anyone else has ever noticed lights do this to them. Also I would like to add that sometimes the lights come back on after I am a ways away.

so, maybe this is just a coincidental experience. Doubtful, i think there are a few key factors that you have to deal with; one, you are utterly doomed to live in the darkness? becoming some sort of emo-esk kid who crys a lot...hmmm, prolly not. So i have concluded through about 2 minutes of bullshitting with myself that this all boils down to your creepy ass basement....ya...you have some sort of entity or possibly a bad sort of karma that constintly floats around you; watching your every move, and it is finally starting to show itself to you in the form of lights going out when you are near...maybe this has to do with our old friend
father Mary...."dont you want to f*ck me anymore Mary!" ... maybe not, but it was a creepy/ funny thought. However, I guess it could be possible. But ya, i think that i have rambled on enough about some wierd coincedence that you are having, hopefully i freaked you out a bit and now maybe your scared of the dark or something...lol but neways, im out! mwahaha

That ALWAYS happens to me. When I was in Rome, it was late at night and we were waiting outside the Polizia! for my mom to file her police report, having been pick-pocketed... and whole sections (the road was lit all up and down) would go out at a time and come back on a few minutes later. For seemingly no reason. And there are always lights going out when I drive under them, some that never fail.

oh my gosh matt!
the same thing happens to me all the time!
it's 2 lamps on either end of my street in particular.... but yea happens other places too. the weird thing is like when i park beneth the one on the end of my cul-de-sac, it goes out and then i go into the house and it comes back on.

Happens to me all the time. In fact, there's one light near my apartment that I can almost predict it will go off every time I drive under it. A quick Googling on the topic suggests it might be due to your headlights. The street lights have a sensor on them to tell them when to turn on right? Well if your headlights hit them just the right way (or maybe the light from the light itself bouncing off your shiny car), BAM light turns off. Eh?

That is clever Mark, I didnt realize their sensor were that quick in reaction, but that makes sense.

ok other than mark saying he has a certain light that turns off on him, this what i think.

you are all crazy, because it just happens by accident. And now that some of you look for it, of course you see it more. Think about how hundred lights you drive under and they never do anything, seriously. It's happenstance, it isn't fate, it isn't divine.

Do you smell that? it's me dumping on this concept.

Ps - mark, this was an attempt at an eric young empression. how was it?
